For all PFM afficonados !! Black and white film from italian TV probably around end 71/early 1972, discussion and demo by Flavio Premoli of what a mellotron ( here an old mk II ( imho) and a moog synthesizer are. The band performs Dove è Quando instrumental part, unbelievable document , 5 stars

latin listeners of the Moon would understand easily what Flavio and the man in white suits are talking about

to be continued

The Advent song looked suspiciously like the DVD, but it's not. Between that, Funny Ways, and Knots, that's Giant at their best. Buy the DVD! (Minnear goes nuts on the solo). I was intriqued by the three cuts from 76-78. They're obviously videos, just lip synching. Very cool to hear "Words From the Wise", a great overlooked later song. The third in that 76-78 clip is not what it says..it's "Interview" (one of the greatest pieces ever written).

That's astounding! If Andyyyy is around he will sure tell you. There are two I think. I have the "Giant On the Box". It's got two of pretty much the same show but it's great, just like your videos. there's an Italian interview and a recent D. Shulman interview, and a few small throwaway clips.

I'm certain Greg Walker has them.

Speaking of DVD's you do have the Discipline I hope!

Due to lot of "New Jerseyers" on the Moon ( Uuh .. some of them are not so new ) :-), tonight's videos are from a TFK's gig in NJ back in may ( the 28th) 2005 , they performed Church of your heart and Cosmic circus ( total palying time around 10 minutes)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMxkhidDTgc

Perhaps are they parts of an official DVD available in the USA ? I dunno.

Here are two documents about the mellotron, the instrument [almost]all proglovers like : both are short ( 2:20) and from Japan, the first is subtitled in Japanese and shows an overview of the inside of the "beast", sounds appears from 1:20 onwards; the seocnd show a tape replacement with japanese comments only ( no english caption).

The anekdoten vids are available on their site, thus quality must be better. Downloadable.
