I am most tempted to send Roger a Billy Idol for Christmas but then I proberbly get arrested for cruelty to animals

Just picked up Flamenco-A-Go-Go. And Dr. Dot is right, it is awesome. But if roger wants to borrow my Billy Idol cd's, he's more than welcome. :D

A Modest Proposal:

Get your favorite drink, turn the lights low, sit in your favorite listening spot, put your new copy of "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven" on, open your mind for a fresh listen, and give that whole album a listen. Then post what you think. I'm really interested to find out your response.

I for one am not ready to see Keith leave this Earth that quickly.

How odd................Before I read your post I ordered "Skinny fists" and it's winging it's way here as I type. More power to you Spaz. :D

Lucky you!

You're going to love it Keithie!

I just bought myself a new pair of speakers (Totem Sttaf for the audiophiles) for my listening room and Lift Your ... is one of my favourites on this new system. Other honourable mentions are Porcupine Tree's In Absentia, OSI, LTE, A Perfect Circle's Thirteen Steps and Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. For some reason Tool and Rush don't sound great on them.

Can't speak for Rush, per se, but I don't think a set of speakers exist that makes Tool sound good.

But that's just my opinion.

Roger -Dot- Lee, not into the screechy sound.

Ok, so, you bought "Skinny Fists" and a friend gave you a GYBE! double album? "Skinny Fists" is GYBE!'s double-album... Are you about to have two copies? If so, send one to Rick and Roll. He's salivating over it.

Needless to say the coasters thing was a feeble attempt at humour.

Sorry Rick I only have the one copy.

Oh my.

That can't be good.

I'm hoping that:

WELCOME HOME, JIM!!!

Our beloved program director, ProgDirJim, and his beloved wife, Mrs.ProgDirJim, recently took a vacation to the Land of the Rising Sun (otherwise known as 'Japan'). He managed to bring back some of the wonderful treasures of those exotic lands.

It's a shame I'm married, or I have had him bring someone^H^H^Hthing back for me! :D

And now, ladies and gentlmen (and you too, Rick):
  • Battles - EP C
  • Esperanto - Last Tango
  • It Bites - Calling All The Heroes - The Best Of It Bites
  • Keith Tippet Group - You Are Here ... I Am There
  • Kenso - Yume No Ka
  • Pinnella, Michael - Enter By The Twelfth Gate
  • Tangent - The World That We Drive Through
  • Tenn Jin - As On A Darkling Plain
  • The Gak Omek - Return Of The All-Powerful Light Beings
  • Wyatt, Robert - Ruth Is Stranger Than Richard

Roger -Dot- Lee, makin' room on his dance card for some more of that Esperanto.

clarification - we had Tenn Jin already, but I re-ripped the "As On A Darkling Plain" suite as two side-long pieces, rather than the 8 separate tracks it was previously...
