Happy Birthday Rogor Mortis. :)

I first met Peter on 12th July 2004. We had arranged to go to a Yes gig in Braintree, Essex and to meet up with VAXman, Martha, Jamforte and Laxmi. I was there early and was wandering around and chatting to some other fans when I noticed a rather large chap looking a bit lost across the car park. He was wearing a maroon jacket and a cricket hat........very odd!!!! All of a sudden my phone rang:

"Hello" says I.
The caller said rather loudly "Where the bloody hell are you?". Funnily enough I could hear it in stereo because the guy in the maroon jacket was standing next to me.
"I'm right here you idiot!!!"
"Oh....so you are".

The gig that night was fantastic.

I've met Peter on numerous occasions since then at various gigs in the UK and a good time (and a lot of booze) has always been had.

I really do feel blessed to have Peter as my friend.

Happy Birthday, mortis, from Michael and myself. Hope to see you again someday. In the meantime, enjoy your day, and don't worry too much about things like hair and the other many signs of aging. You'll always have one good hand to be able to change CD's, so I'd imagine you could use the same hand to wheel yourself to gigs with kw when the day comes. Have a good cuppa and a few dry bikkies today in honour of another year well spent. :D

The good thing about approaching this age is that more and more people will let you choose first. Age before beauty and all that. But then again, if it's the "Walk across hot coals" line, that might not be such a great thing. :neener:

Well it's so heartwarming with the very kind words and I'm grateful so it makes doing the chores much easier........Thanks everyone.

Vax however doesn't know he's now an licorice addict and will soon be in my power chanting "I love Bill Gates" to get his daily fix........:D
