schedule through 7/31

I thought I'd stop being so secretive and post the show formats for the next several months (actually I just finalized them). I'll try to play any "non-standard" fare when I'm present, so abuse can be heaped upon me. And by posting early you can beat the rush for hooting and hollering about my playlists! :D

Sunday date Show

5/29 "Catching" up - most of "Deadwing", Condition
Red, Galleon, Mostly Autumn

6/5 "The Ed Show" - my good friend Ed Stephens has
put together three hours of incredible jazz/fusion.

6/12 Led Zeppelin. You read it right. And thanks, but I will
pick the tunes.;)

6/19 Djam Karet. A favorite prog band.

6/26 "Requests". "Do a real DJ" is not the kind of request
I mean :p . Drop me a private message about what
it is you'd like to hear. I'll be away on vacation.

7/3 Nearfests past. One show will not do six years of the
festival justice, but I'll try.

7/10 Nearfest present. Spotlights the bands at the 2005
festival. I'll miss this show (for obvious reasons).

7/17 Queensryche. You may be surprised of the depth of
their music. Progressive enough for me.

7/24 New Moon Part IV. I'll compile the additions from last
time until now. Will be away this show and the next.

7/31 Tangerine Dream Part II. Vax get ready, it's your
turn to play! Vax, if you could compile the list
separately, we'll chat in a month or so.

Enjoy!

Yeah, like that's gonna stop us from requesting! I'm asking for "Trampled Under Foot," "Carouselambra," "How Many More Times," and "Achilles' Last Stand."

Well it's a bit early to do a set list but there's no way those four will be left off!

How's about "That's the Way" for a Zep song, Rick. Love that one, and it would make for a nice quiet moment. Only if you change your mind on requests.

(Did you really think you could slip that in without us noticing, k? Everything alright?)

Everything's fine mossy. Just a bit of the sauce talking. :)

Plus I love that song. It's got real feeling and emotion.

Rick and Roll 05-20-2005 07:31 AM

Mossy thanks, I was afraid to ask:(

That's the Way is a great tune. If it weren't for Ten Years Gone, it would be the best mellow Zep tune...

Actually, how about one Zep tune then one Devo tune? Oh that's right that idea's been done...:D

see that? I shouldn't be responding right now..the show is a ways off. I'm given to superlatives, and was responding to "That's the Way" and temporarily forgot about "The Rain Song".

This show never actually aired, or did it? Any chance we could get to hear it some time during this year? Whenever the schedule permits, of course...

I'm sure sometime in March I'll be ready for a break...unless it's ready and gets aired outside of the time slot.
