Tech Q: PMs and REALLY private messages!!!
 

I've used PMs by clicking the "Forums" link, and then the "Private Messages" title link at the bottom of the main frame, but the other day, I noticed I had an active link to "1 private message" at the bottom of the LEFT PANEL. below the calendar, in the "Who's Online" section.

It was WEEKS old, and I had never noticed it... SteadyStan must think I'm a snob!!! :( Sorry Stan! Though you graciously ignored it, as it didn't seem to prevent us bonding at the TFK gig!! :)

This left panel PM is in a different "box" of PMs, because the Forums PM link lists a number of old unpurged PMs that I "knew about" but this other one is a "loner"... I'm not sure how it might have been differently sent, etc...

I guess I'm asking the AM webfolk if:
- this is a known/unknown issue
- my description makes sense
- anyone cares!! :rolleyes:
- etc etc
