Hey Thor, why didn't you wear that helmut the other night. I certainly wouldn't have had a problem picking you out in the crowd.

If you would wear a red wig, you'd look like Hagar the Horrible. :D Nice pix on the wall behind ya, too. PS - Where's Helga?

Thor 06-27-2005 01:11 PM

Where's Helga

Tee

Helga is the woman in the photo right behind my right shoulder

When I was sporting waist-length blonde hair, it went pretty well with Viking helmets. I used to wear one for Halloween. Sadly, I have no pictures to share, however. We could have started a new photo album in the gallery entitled, "AM Listeners Wearing Viking Helmets."

Except that Viking helmets in reality had no horns - thats just a myth.

But if the Boston Tea Drinking Society saw this Thor would get expelled !!!!

I remember, a number of years back, visiting a friend in Santa Barbara, one of his buddies had a viking helmet. Don't ask why, there was alcohol involved. Inside the helmet was a warning label that read: "Have fun, but be careful." Nice and specific warning. To this day, that line gets quoted often between my wife and myself.

Now the London Headbanger's mind is filled with visions of Jim, Mrs Jim and Viking helmet in a double header situation. Worthy of any Marilyn Chambers film that one........................actually I think I've seen it!!!!!!!!!! :p
