Mike Batt's new band
 

I've just been on the official website of the new Mike Batt group The Planets, whose debut album 'Classical Graffiti' is out in the UK on Feb 18th. All I can say is - they are the new Sky!

I heartily recommend them for the playlist.

They are described as a 'classical fusion' group. However, a look through the samples of the different tracks reveals an album of enormous variety, ranging from almost straight classical & folk (they even do a version of 'She Walked Through The Fair') to jazz rock.
