Show 113

After much deliberation, I decided to call my show "Show 113". Maybe it speaks for itself!

Finch - "Stage '76" (1976...of course)

Scars On The Ego
Paradoxical Moods
Necronomicon
A Passion Condensed
Pisces

71 minutes of the great Dutch band, one of my favorites. Joop, Beer, and the boys deliver a rousing set. You'll find this as Disc 2 of a set packaged with outtakes and demos of "Galleons of Passion".

Variant - from "Beyond Jargon" (2005)

March To War
None So Blind
Deeds
Carrin' Carrion
Reflections
When The Lights On

Six of the nine songs will be featured. This band from Texas has some dark moments, but it's interesting prog. The vocals are not that good, but the music is. The first tune's a dead ringer for "Children of the Grave". This is the only music featured on this show that is presently on the Moon.

dada (from 2006)

A Friend of Pat Robertson
Letters From Fall

The first selection is the title cut from their latest release, an EP, and the second is a song sent via download, to those who buy the EP from the band. Both feature the trademark harmonies and the incredibly tasteful guitar of Michael Gurley. He's on a par with Frampton with geting the most out of every note. A band not to be missed live.

Images of Eden "Sunlight of the Spirit" (2005)

Ascension
Kaleidoscope
Beyond The Horizon
To Live Another Day
Dream-Catcher
A Midsummer Night's Dream
Aladdin
Sunlight of the Spirit
part I - Emerald Rain
part II - I Remember When..
part III - Through October Skies
Ethereal
Midnight's Tale

A band out of York, PA with Dennis Mullin (guitarist for Iluvatar), Matt Kaiser on drums, and Gordon Tittsworth, who sings, plays bass and keys, and writes almost all the songs. Was able to see them at a local watering hole last year. Some similarity to Queensryche in spots, it doesn't bore like a lot of the heavier prog can do.

After the replay of Wojtek's top CD's of 2006, scheduled for next week, I've got all of the shows scheduled through April, with a few surprises:flutter: :rawk:

Thanks, I love feedback! My job is separate man and money....

Glory of the Inner Force is the first and my favorite. Beyond Expression is also wonderful. Galleons of Passion is more hit and miss, and the demos from this record are combined with the live disc we heard on a 2-disc set.

May I ask the name of that famous Dutch band? I only know Focus as a likely prog radio candidate. But the songs titles don't ring a bell.
Sorry for appearing so ignorant.....
