I saw Mr. Metheny first around 1980 to '82. This album had just come out, and we thought it was a great show. Some of the stuff on this album made us think of Pink Floyd of all things!

AFWSFWF is a great record, seen Pat several times over the years tho not recently. I have most of his records with PMG et. al. He's got a new DVD in HD DVD format for The Way Up tour, wanna get that.

Agreed...an amazing album. The title track has to rate up there with some of my favourite tracks ever. I have a live album on which they perform this track and that, too, is sensational.

Yeah I got that too, Travels is the title I believe, awesome live record. I've got a bunch of his live DVDs too, they're all great. The Joni Mitchell Shadows & Light DVD with Pat, Lyle, Jaco, Mike Brecker & Don Alias as her backing band is a great DVD also IMHO.

yes and yes i luv that album...think it's my favorite of pat/lyle...they play seattle often and i've seen them 2x (one of my few live concerts i can say :winkies:....pink floyd you say (snard):thumbsup: ...

I need to get that Joni DVD as well - she has a new CD which I just ordered - I'll post once I receive it and listen to it...

New Joni CD? Cool, have to keep my eyes & ears open for that, I thought she said she was giving up on the music biz, glad to hear she reconsidered! :)
