Earth Hour

Earth Hour is upon us.
When it is Saturday Night the 26th of March 2011 no matter where you are around the world please do our earth and environment a big favour and turn everything off at 8:30pm for one hour.
You will make a difference
Thanks

Re: Earth Hour

Well, I'm not turning off the fridge, for obvious reasons. I'm not unplugging my alarm clock. I'm not turning off the AC. I'm not turning off the hot water heater. Other than than, pretty much everything is off for about 8 hours every night while I sleep. So, don't we have eight earth hours a day?

Light 'em if you got em' Fire up the 100 watt incandescent bulbs! Burn Baby Burn! (SARCASM) R) :neener:

Ditto Spaz, Don't vilify my fridge or hot water heater. No sense of proportion. Not for 1 hour where they may cycle once or twice.

Thanks Moono.

I think of it more as if there's a light on, music, the tv, the computer in a room you're not in, or you're not using, turn it off ;) of course other appliances like the fridge need to stay on :)
