Band suggestion: Rosenkreutz
 

Rosenkreutz are a newer Italian band who play more in the style of anglo prog(ie Yes, Genesis etc)than classic Italian. According to progarchives they are crossover prog. Also, they spell their name with a slash through the o and an umlaut above the u.

At any rate, I was rather surprised that they aren't on AM so I thought I would suggest them.

Here is what Greg Walker at synphonic has to say about them and their so far only album: "Neo prog of the highest calibre featuring some nices synths and arrangements. Sounds more Anglo than it does Italian."

Also, they do a really cool cover of "I am the walrus" that you can find on youtube as well as other songs from their album "back to the stars."

I think they did a duet album with Gildensteuorn. It got killed in the reviews.

Rosenkreutz is actually on the playlist. The slashed o causes it to alphabetize at the end of the R's - nothing I can do about that.

Ah, so it is. Oh well. If nothing else it's good unintentional promotion for the band. ;)
