COTM - #356 - Eloy and Alan Parsons Project
 

Hi everyone.

I'm hitting the 1979 and 1980 era today with two artists that helped bridge the gap from Classic Prog to Neo Prog.

I'll have two albums from Eloy. 1979's Silent Cries And Might Echoes and 1980's Colours. Two very popular albums among Eloy fans.

Between those albums will be 1979's The Sicilian Defense from The Alan Parsons Project. A concept album dedicated to Chess.

All of the albums are very synthesizer based. Some say Eloy's albums were too close in sound to another very big release around that time. Talk among yourselves.
