COTM - #358 - Thanksgiving Leftovers
 

Happy Thanksgiving my friends.

I have a lot to be grateful for and it starts with your friendship and support. Thanks for being a part of my little corner of the mooniverse.

I have lined up a playlist that reflects the spirit of the holiday. Gratitude and leftovers. I start by playing Pat Metheny's Every Day (I Thank You). It is a track from the 80/81 album, which features Pat Metheny, Jack DeJohnette, Charlie Haden, DeDewy Redman, and Mike Brecker.

That is followed by the album Leftoverture by Kansas. A great classic.
I also have a short track from Soniq Theatre called Leftoverture.

The last album for the show is one that is made up of material that was left over from a former project and became a new work. I speak of The Endless River by Pink Floyd. Released in 2014 it was a fitting tribute to Keyboardist Richard Wright.

I will not be joining you for the show as I am required elsewhere, but I hope you enjoy the selections. I also hope you were able to spend time with the family without harm. :bash:
