Can't vote.

It's probably me but everytime I try to vote I get "Web site not responding" type messages.

I want to cast my vote for Tangent and can't......sob sob.

I voted for KC, KX, and Mogwai. How about ya'll?

I voted for a few, and then forgot to vote for KC, which is my choice for the #1 disc of the year.

Can I vote again? :-)

Made it....

I HAD to vote for The Tangent.

I just think it's a stunning album...........

There sure are a lot of newer releases by bands I like I've never heard. It gets harder and harder to catch up!

I voted for "A Night For Baku".

Now bear in mind I saw Crimson on their last tour, and generally feel the same positive way about their music that all prog lovers do. But I sure am tired of their studio work lately. I mean the Belew songs have now run their smirky course, and the instrumentals are all the same now. They're about as fresh as 3-week old salmon.

Not that I have an opinion!

Its so tough, there were so many great albums this year!

Had to tie b/t Power to Believe and Up. Definitely Gabriel's best since Passion.

yeah, i loved "up" too. i almost put gabriel into his
own genre. he's "progressive- the verb";)

"my ghost likes to travel"...

i can't listen to that before i compose,
it imprints onto my synapses.

I had to go with Porcupine Tree's In Absentia. This is the first new Prog album that I've purchased in years. It took me about 5 listens to get into it, but I love it.
If you want to sample it, try Blackest Eyes, Trains, The Creator Has a Mastertape, The Sound of Muzak, 3, Wedding Nails, and Gravity Eyelids.

...with that, we've named 3 cds in my beetle's changer.

"in absentia" is a great cd, a great choice also.
