I was going to debate the merits of this etc (went back and read your black box chat w/ jim), but it's busy here and I don't have the patience.

SO,

I have one. The last two tunes on Giant's "Three Friends"...Mister Class and Quality and Three Friends.

Hell, I can't resist:

I don't think tunes should be combined without asking first in a forum setting. With all due respect Spaz, I would rather you not give them a listen and be the judge.

For instance the last three tunes on Sonus Umbra's "Snapshots From Limbo" should have been fused (they were split when ripped). Dot and Jim did this after I asked...it took awhile, but I went through protocol. It's fine now. I'll be playing that, coincidentally, in two weeks.

I also don't think any one person should be the arbitrer of this. What's the rush? Just post it and see...sort of like the "errors" thread. But maybe one thread per rq. There are lots of Moonies more jnowledgeable than you or I. It may be more of a glacial pace, but so what?

Finally, that idea of no request months (see main page) would be further fueled by putting songs together. The 58 minute Flower King's "Garden of Dreams" is really a bunch of tunes, but it's techically on the CD one big tune. It's split in fourths here. Do we really want to hear it all?

Stuff like Endless Dream....you have a strong case for that one....so how about a case by case basis? Please?

Oh, and that "Move Me" by King's X seems to me was tacked on by the band, not split from a whole tune. The last 4 minutes (part 2) are pure filler. I was shocked when I bought the record and heard it..so boring for KX. Now I know the reason. Maybe I should have wrote them a tune!

I don't want the tone of this to sound negative, and I surely agree that some splits are horrible (look at Kayleigh/Lavender for example), but lets change these only after input from others. And I appreciate the time and willingness to do this daunting task.

I'd much rather get things straight first like getting Cozy's show on the main page, things like that.
