I've used PMs by clicking the "Forums" link, and then the "Private Messages" title link at the bottom of the main frame, but the other day, I noticed I had an active link to "1 private message" at the bottom of the LEFT PANEL. below the calendar, in the "Who's Online" section.
It was WEEKS old, and I had never noticed it... SteadyStan must think I'm a snob!!!
Sorry Stan! Though you graciously ignored it, as it didn't seem to prevent us bonding at the TFK gig!!
This left panel PM is in a different "box" of PMs, because the Forums PM link lists a number of old unpurged PMs that I "knew about" but this other one is a "loner"... I'm not sure how it might have been differently sent, etc...
I guess I'm asking the AM webfolk if:
- this is a known/unknown issue
- my description makes sense
- anyone cares!!
- etc etc
