When the Alan Parsons Project opened for Yes, they came on 15 minutes early. Everyone was saying that's pretty bold for a warmup band to be doing APP songs. But found it was actually Alan with his guest singer for the tour.
Not a huge EC fan, but he was always different enough from the mainstream to hold my interest.
