When one of the event's promoters stands up in front of 1000 NEARfesters and proclaims that Mirthrandir will be performing at ProgDay -- which is more more than 1
day but we can debate the semantics of that in another thread

official announcement. It might not have made it in real time to the ProgDay site but it is/was on the
Mirthrandir site.

Advent was present at NEARfest and I spoke with them. Alan Benjamin is guitarist for both
Advent and
Mirthrandir. He confirmed it to me as well. I haven't had a chance to speak with Simon yet; however, any conversation with him wouldn't be to confirm their ProgDay appearance.
