Burl Ives...NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!
I knew you were joking RnR....but many DO get the 2 confused as not many know about Charles......He was an incredible American composer of the early 1900's that refused to play the role of a stereotypic composer and did most of his work in anonymity....some of his work is a bit too marching band-like for my tastes...but there are a few pieces that are incredibly complex and worth checking out!...check out his piano Sonata #2...especially the "Thoreau" movement...you might be surprised!
