ever seen the show on SpikeTV called MXC? or Most Extreme Elimination Challenge? I love the show. Basically, two guys do comedic overdubs on an extreme Japanese "reality" game show where the contestants have to perform fairly challenging and sometimes dangerous stunts. The commentary is absolutely hilarious, and it actually takes a few listens to appreciate the number of jokes.
The avatar I found somewhere on the web, is of one of the games that sometimes appear on the show called "Boulderdash" - contestants have to run up the chute whilst boulders (not sure what they're made out of) are rolled down at them - there's a few turnoffs in the side of the chute to avoid the boulders, but there's people in the turnoffs trying to push them back out.
I don't watch a lot of TV, but I rarely miss MXC.

plus, sometimes I feel like that guy. I'm trying to keep up with my Aural Moon duties,and more and more CDs and requests are piling up, starting an "avalanche" if you will...so it's just a very complex, deep, and subtle metaphor.
