zenpool welcomes Joel Veach of "jamcamp" on drums!

...not only a stellar drummer, studio musician...
but.. it turns out joel's also the co-owner of songplanet.com,
the owner of rifftrader.com(if you haven't checked out rifftrader,
it's a transfer site for online collab, great stuff- www.rifftrader.com )
and flying spot video production. www.flyingspot.com

if that weren't enough, he composed the seattle sonics theme!
give a listen, you'll see why joel was our obvious choice.
www.songplanet.com/jamcamp

thanks, stay in touch.

oops! correction- joel V-E-A-T-C-H

sorry joel!

everyone should have a listen to jamcamp,
link above. it's not exactly prog, but sort of
"free-form jazz improv w/ prog touches".

Kirk, I am listening to one of your songs right now. This is good stuff. You ought to donate a cd to jim so he can include you on our playlist. I'm listening to the second song on http://www.songplanet.com/artists/bands/615/ the first song was good also and I will listen to the 3rd song. The second link @ weedstash did not work for me. Anyway where can I buy a cd?

termin8tor-
thanks ! i sent a snip of our latest "majiker" to roger last week.
we're the other band he was referring to on the
"jazzraptor's a.m. debut" thread.
the cd should be ready to go in a few weeks,
available at cdbaby, amazon.com,
single 160 kbs. p4d.l. files available at weedshare
(weedshare's having some server problems,
hopefully resolved this weekend).

the cd's divided into my solo tunes like
"gridspace" (phase 1), duets w/ guitarist steve hall
"scirocco", "for bleeding hearts and artists" (phase 2)
and full band,"majiker" (phase 3).
btw- steve's live band "the questionnaires" will be touring
w/ dutch proggers "focus" this summer.

we've also added a killer bassist, von babasin
of "ONOFFON", the son of hollywood jazz legend
harry babasin. their tune "mardi gras" has
been used by fox sports over 150 times in the past
few months. www.besonic.com/onoffon

thanks again for the good words, glad you enjoyed the music.
