Gongzilla in Studio Interview, New Jeff Berlin, Shawn Lane Tribute Tonight

as we feature an exclusive in studio interview with Gongzilla, join us as Bon Lozaga, Hansford Rowe, Benoit Moerlen, and Sam Aliano discuss their upcoming tour which begins in Philadelphia next Saturday night, and ultimately winds up in Japan. We'll be featuring cuts from the recent East Village Sessions, and also track new music from Bon Lozaga's new disc titled Two Plus Two. Tonight we feature a special extended spotlight on late great Guitarist Shawn Lane who passed away in Septemeber of 2003. We'll be featuring music from Shawn's performance in August of 1996 with Jonas Hellborg and Jeff Sipe live from Atlanta, GA. His powerful 1992 release, Powers Of Ten, his 1999 release The Tri-Tone Fascination, his collaborative work with Jonas Hellborg and V. Selvaganesh from 2000 titled Good People In Times Of Evil, and the 2002 release of Icon. We'll also track the latest release from Guitarist Richard Hallebeek which features Shawn titled R.H.P., and a collection of tribute tracks from the Lion Music label, and guitarist Scott McGill. Please join us for this special tribute to one of the great ones. We'll also world premier new music from Bass legend Jeff Berlin and the new disc titled Lumpy Jazz, a must get.
