Izz

Has anyone suggested this NYC band on the forums yet?

http://www.izznet.com/

There are a couple of full length mp3's off "I Move".

The title track is one of them. Great song.

A friend sent me the cd. Then today the Vax reminded me they are playing at Rosfest.

We need a magic carpet ride to the other coast, p.

Izz good

My friend who I'll be at the fest with loves this band. I need to really sit and listen and buy - at the Nearfest 2003, two of them were at a party on Sat night, playing acoustic covers and having us chumps sing along. It was pure magic. You will not meet a nicer bunch of guys.

I've yet to see the band as a whole, but it's good to see people with their heads screwed on straight.

Also very refreshing to hear bands unafraid to put some pop in the progressive scene without soiling the product.

Hi Rick, yes. THAT'S what it is. And they do it well. Have fun at Rosfest...

Right on mossy........

I agree about the Pop - Prog analysis of Rick.

They reminded me a lot of Dada, especially the feel of Dada's first album "Puzzle".

I will definitely be adding them to the collection.

Thanks mossy for a great pointer.

quick detour

I know this isn't a dada post, but they decided to play Baltimore in two weeks. I shall be there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked their website and they played a place called Studio 7 in Seattle on 2/18 and Mossy I looked for your area but they made a loop around NV!

Check them out sometime, you will really like them.
