Have you heard their "Before Became After" CD? It's quite good. It's definitely in my "top2004" list. I realize the Moon doesn't exactly have the cash to buy every single CD folks recommend here, but here are two cheaper possibilities:

I'm definitely interested in this one - we have the original Proto-Kaw on Aural Moon and it's pretty darn good.
