Interzone - August 1, 2006 - ECM IV

Hello. Join me this week as Interzone delves back into the world of the prolific ECM label. The label was home for a lot of jazz artists, both American and European that took jazz to new levels in the 1970s and beyond. The label is still going strong today. The featured album of the week is Eberhard Weber’s “The Colours Of Chloe”, one of the landmarks of the label, and with plenty of symphonic rock elements to be of interest to prog fans.

Yr is one the best records I have ever heard. Everyone should have a copy. The opening track, "Ur", is power! I wore that record out in college.

I included the othr two artists because I know them. As usual only three is the usual number of artists I know from the show lol...

But everytime I listen, I get another gem, like Toad, Perigeo, etc.....
