Show 68 - The Super Bowl of Rock and Roll

In celebration of an event overhyped, bloated, and too serious for words, I'd thought I'd do a Super Bowl show. How truly American

Sunday night's show will be for all you non-football lovers. I may catch the last hour of it. But I'll be around on hangover Monday...

FIRST QUARTER

Black Sabbath - SUPERtzar
Camel - SUPERtwister
Genesis - Here Comes the SUPERnatural Anaesthetist
Forever Einstein - (the song title's too damn big to print here)
Carptree - SUPERhero
Gong - SUPERmarket
Steve Unruh - SUPERnova
Taal - SUPER Flat Moon

SECOND QUARTER

Rush - SUPERconductor
Styx - SUPERstars
Eyestrings - Dead SUPERmen
XTC - That's really SUPER, SUPERgirl
Black Sabbath - SUPERnaut

HALFTIME

Jethro Tull - STEEL Monkey
Judas Priest - STEELER
Salem Hill - SEATTLE (In Memory Of...)
Smithereens - Sick of SEATTLE
No-Man - My Revenge On SEATTLE
Dixie Dregs - Sleeveless In SEATTLE

THIRD QUARTER - SUPERtramp

Even In The Quietest Moments
School
Another Man's Woman
Sister Moonshine
Goodbye Stranger
Just Another Nervous Wreck

FOURTH QUARTER - More SUPERtramp

Fool's Overture
Lord Is It Mine
Cannonball
Brother Where You Bound
Give A Little Bit

I think that should do it

Oh yeah....conventional wisdom says the Steelers, but I think the O-Line of the Seahawks are too good. Seattle 31, Pittsburgh 23. Watch out, Avian just threw a dart at my head!

It was treated by the listeners with the class and respect that any Tarentel song usually is

I actually didn't mind it for about four minutes, then it ran out of steam.
