What's the top of Genesis work of all times
Probably, The Lamb Lies Down On Boadway was the most bombastic, but I think, Selling England By the Pound was the best Progressive Work.
Because the fusion between the strings and solos of Hackett and the mellotrons and synths. of Banks was perfect. The Gabriel's voice with his nice flute performing was celestial. The teatrical interpretation and his nice lyrics, was innovator material everything creating an ethereal clime ! A MASTERPIECE

Hard to disagree with that.
Trick of the Tail holds a special place for me as it was the first Genesis album I bought on my own. The evil sounding Dance on a Volcano gives me shivers every time I hear it. |

I'll take the full studio versions of "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" and "The Brazilian." Never cared for Gabriel-Genesis that much.
