Japanese IQ test (a fun little diversion...)

The following was posted on the Marillion web site forum and it's kind of fun.

The rules are in Japanese. Unless you can read Japanese, follow the rules below:


First: Click on the blue circle to start the test.

The idea of the test is to get everyone across the river but a few stipulations follow:

There are 8 people to cross: Mom, Dad, 2 daughters, 2 sons, a thief and a policeman.

1. Only 2 persons on the raft at a time.

2. The father can not stay with any of the daughters without the mother being present.
You will know if you've violated this rule by a graphic that will appear.

3. The mother can not stay with any of the sons without the father being present.
Again, you will know if you've violated this rule by a graphic that will appear.

4. The thief (striped shirt) can not stay with any family member if the Policeman is not present.
Yet again, you will know if you've violated this rule by a graphic that will appear.

5. Only the Father, the Mother and the Policeman know how to operate the raft.



To move the people click on them.
To move the raft click on the pole on the opposite side of the river.




HINT: the solution is 17 moves... have fun!
