Sam went on about that in the ROSfest mailing list. They're not really; albeit, Rick is and he does write the majority of the songs.

However, spiritual doesn't necessarily equate to religious. There are a great many bands that are/were "spritual". Yes, and I love Yes. Spock's Beard -- come on and look at lyrics in some of the songs... especially before Neal split... The Doorway, a great tune, reeks of religious symbolism. The Flower Kings and even the Beatles after meeting with the Maharishi have put out "spiritual" songs.

If you listen to the first CV album "Angeline", I think that you will see their spirituality question the existance of a god.

Whatever, it doesn't bother me. They're great on stage, write and perform some excellent songs, and they're GREAT partiers! You missed Tim at CalProg sitting in the lobby bar of the hotel sucking women's toes! Christine (a friend) was so turned on, I thought she was going to perform a publicly obscene act of personal ... well... gratification.

Aye 'twas. OceanVic and his crew, My crew, you, and I forget several others all at one big table.

Cool. I can't believe we were at the CV/TFK gig and didn't meet up.

I've heard a few of the DT medleys.

I think that CV does them just for the sake of fun. They do that fairly well but they are not polished at their segues between songs, and I don;t believe they want them to be.
