The Moodies were part of that whole group (Queen, Styx, Yes, Kansas, etc.) that just ran out of good ideas. And like you say uzeb, the lure of $ was too strong.

Chicago was a different kind of band very blues/jazz. A combination of not being able to keep true to their form and Terry Kath shooting himself kept Chicago from keeping on.
