Join the GAGLIARCHIVES this Saturday night at 10pm Eastern time for program 790, as we replay our March 29th interview with musical genius Jan Hammer. Jan joined us to discuss his history through all the different projects over the years. From his early days with Sarah Vaughn, through his days with the Mahavishnu Orchestra, his collaborations with other musical pioneers, to his success with his compositions for Miami Vice, and other projects for TV, Films, and Movies. The interview will air slightly before 11pm Saturday night, and will be followed by a collage of Jan's collaboritive. This Saturday night will also be the premier of 2 great new CD's. The first from Polish band Satellite, featuring alumni from the band Collage. We will feature their new CD A Street Between Sunrise and Sunset...a new disc I am very sure will be in the final top 10 of 2003...Los Angeles Band Ohm and their self titled disc on the Lion Music label. This is a must for fans of the 'fusion trio'...Canadian band Spaced Out makes their way to the City Of Brotherly Love Sunday night...to Philadelphia's Tritone on 15th and South Street in Olde City. We'll be featuring cuts from their catalog...into the vaults of Vinyl Widow with music from Japanese band Ain Soph and their album Hat and Field from 1987....music from Italian band Ibis and their self titled album from 1975...also from Italy..we will track the band Leviathan and their 1980 album Bee Yourself...and classics from Steve Hackett and his Tokyo Tapes from 1997...Pink Floyd and the Division Bell CD from 1994...recent music from Italian band Malombra and the Dissolution Age CD..and French band Nebelnest and their Nova Express album from 2002. Tune in and enjoy!http://ghostland.com/gagliarchives
