Seeing Tull is always a treat, although I've gotten somewhat disenchanted with them of late. Then after watching their "Living With The Past" DVD last night, I realized I needed some fine-tuning. Ian and Martin are headed towards 60, and they're still doing their thing. The band is still taut.

Besides the 1968 line-up back on a few tunes, the best and funniest part of the DVD is Ian intoducing "Thick As A Brick", stating how they were perceived as a blues band , then a blues rock band, then a rock band, then an art rock band, then a PROGESSIVE ROCK BAND! Making "concept albums" (then it flashes that in big letters)..I was ROFL. Then he says, for the next 8 minutes and 31 seconds we will be a progressive rock band, but for you it will seem like a bloody hour and a half!

BTW, the quote at the bottom of the post is from a Tull tune that will be on the show. Any guesses?
