Welcome to Interzone

Listent to the premiere of Interzone, this Tuesday, March 15 at 8 pm Eastern. Your host is Cozy, formerly of Gnosis.

The point of the show is essentially trying to focus on the "gray areas" in a black and white, either/or world.

"I'll be playing a lot of crossover material: jazz-rock, fusion, avant-garde, some ECM jazz, and still leave room to play some more familiar prog bands."

Sweet

You've inherited a good time slot there Cozy. I had fun there. But beware! There is a LOT of work in a weekly show! Good luck to you. I'll be listening.

Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome, guys.

Rick. I will post set lists. Don't worry.

Hey Ben. I only hope I can live up to the standard set here by some of the long-timers here. Sean McFee (Progressive Shores) and Gagz (Gagliarchives) are good friends of mine, and if I do half as well as them, I'll be happy.

Thanks to Jim and Roger for making this happen. This is by far the best music internet radio station of its kind that I've come across. (I didn't realize that until I spent some time looking at some other stations).

Should be fun!

Cozy

Welcome to the frey Cozy.

I'm the opposite - I've started to listen to other stations - not because I want too but to find out if it is a common problem here in DK receiving high bandwith signals fro USA. Yes it seems there is a correlation but not always. I've found out at the moment I can listen to 128k on AMoon after I've gone to bed and before I get up - or in other words early in the morning. It is therefore the thesis that the problems I have are due to traffic congestion in Europe. Fuck

But I will listen to your show Cozy with queriosity on 56k if I can get in.

Looking forward to this show!

Cozy,

I was glad to see reference to "ECM jazz". It's where I went when punk hit, and I've enjoyed a lot of artists there. If that's part of your show's style, I'll definitely look forward to wherever else you take us!

Thanks, and good luck!

Took me weeks to get the smell off my hands.

And you'll hear a lot of it over time. The first ECM show is in 3 weeks. Depending on the response after several shows, I'll do more or less of what is hitting and missing.
