I do like U2. A lot. (Although I blame them and REM for taking the guitar lead out of popular music).

Putting it in that light I can see their inclusion in this mythical hall of fame. It makes sense. Certainly better than "it freakin rocks"

I guess I had a visceral reaction when I saw the article.
