I'm there, RickandRoll is there, Nadina is there and ProgDirJim will be there.

How long do you plan to be in the area? It's my old stomping grounds (I was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley) so I could show you a few sites if there's time.

I sent an email yesterday with my NEARfest seating selection. Nadina's selection was in the same selection lot as I, so she has to pick her seats as well. There's one more selection group after us and then all of the patron ticket holder's seating should be complete. The regular ticket's go on sale in March.

NEARfest tickets go FAST, so you'd better be ready to purchase them the very second they go on sale.

Moses,
The year Steve Hackett headlined, tix sold out in 5 minutes. That was at the larger 1500 seat Patriots Theater too! I actually didn't get tickets. Fortunately, there was a party with tix that could not make it to the show and they put them up for sale; I lucked out to get them. Since then, I have insured myself seats by purchasing the Patron tix.

With Emo headlining, I suspect that there may be many more people vying for tix. Good luck. Would love to meet you there, even if you're a western Penn's woodsman!

Re: Nearfest

I spend more time seeing friends than the bands. It's an unforgettable time. Doubt that I'll have the band contact like last two years (as of now the artists' hotel is blocked from the unwashed ).

One of my favorite things is the parking lot get togethers. It's adjacent to the hall and well, the whole venue is great. And there's the Genesis hair salon down the street...

Anyway, more on everything as we go. Good luck on reg tickets. When are they again?

Speak for yourself, I bathed!

I think Chad and Rob should draw from the Patron list to fill the rest of the rooms there. But whatever becomes of the Comfort Suites, there are plenty of other hotels in the area. I just would like not to have to drive home after mucho partying.
