Re: Who's in your top 5 rotation.
Combination Head (I played them twice last night!)
Al DiMeola- Flesh on Flesh (SACD) Helmet of Gnats (SACD) Barry Miles (On direct-to-disc vinyl from the 70s. Never knew what happened to him till I Googled his name to find he played on a few of DiMeola's CDs, so I've been listening to him and didn't even know!) John McLaughlin- Electric Dreams (On vinyl....always loved this one!!) |

Re: Who's in your top 5 rotation.
Paul sent me a myspace message today, what a coincidence - the new one should be available via CD Baby next week. A new year, a new head! (Combination that is). I replied that I was sure to pick it up and play it on the show. But with all my stuff going on, it may not be for a month or so.
Don't you just love that last song on the disc? The melody stays with you. On a related note, I finally heard the Black Bonzo from this year (they have an earlier disc). It kicked my ass all the way up and down the Eastern seaboard. On an admin note...this is still a duplicate thread, or at the very least, in the wrong section of the forum... |
