Talking Re: Rolling Stone Top 10 Progressive Rock Bands

[quote=Magic Mountain;46715]Here is Rolling Stone's list of the top 10 prog rock bands of all time (Reader's Poll):

Hell must have frozen over for Rolling Stone to do this. Isn't this the magazine that has hated progressive rock since, uh, forever? Now maybe Rush, Yes, Jethro Tull and King Crimson will finally get into the R&R HoF.

I confirm , they gave prog rock the cold shoulder all the time . Now rock music is losing speed , so RS recalls the prog troopers :-)
i see Lester Bangs skull smiling :-)

Re: Rolling Stone Top 10 Progressive Rock Bands

On ELP they claim people said "they signified everything wrong with the bloated arena rock of the late 1970s.". However, they fail to remind us that RS was the one saying it. Oh well - mellow with age.
