Happy to be listening!

Hey folks, I am now able to listen to AM at work! I am very pleased and was surprised when the station popped up with no trouble. I still am not able to listen at home, but someday, maybe I'll have the right computer for the job. Until then, Prog On!

Re: Happy to be listening!

What could possibly be stopping from listening to am on your computer, other than no internet service? There are free players that will run on most systems such as Winamp http://www.winamp.com/media-player/download/all that play the stream just fine. Take the free Lite version and don't accept any other toolbars or add-ons etc.

Cheers,
Art

Re: Happy to be listening!

I guess no speakers could be a severe limitation as well ;-)

I'm assuming a really old computer is the culprit.

Very likely. I don't think this model supported a sound card.

I'm pretty sure she had the Antikythera Device.
