COTM #43 - Agitation Free (BYOB)

Greetings Mooniverse,

This week I am having a vision from a Flashback. Well, not "a" Flashback, but "the" Flashback1. Our friend recommended this group to me and I thought I would return the favor and pass them along to you.

From the late 60's and early to mid 70's Agitation Free was a great example of Krautrock in one of it's more psychedelic states. Meditative, bluesy, soaring guitar solo lines, and spacey atmospheric organ.

I will feature 3 albums (minus the "bonus" tracks usually included with the cd's): Their debut album from 1972, Malesch; a live recording from 1974 which was released in 1996 under the title At The Cliffs Over the River Rhine; and an album produced when they reunited in 1998 - River of Return.

I hope you can join me. Pull up a hookah and a large pillow and enjoy.

Dale

(ps - don't forget the brownies and doritos)
