missing my point
I don't profess to give the definition of prog. That's what you are doing when you say a certain song is prog (ie "Closer to Home").
It's going too far when we decide that certain Led Zeppelin tracks are not progressive. Closer to Home came out in the late 60's. Don't sit there and tell me if it's prog or not. Leave that for the people who grew up with that song (I was a few years too late, sorry to say). I'd say "Black Licorice" has more prog elements. BTW Kiss did God of Thunder and Larger Than Life, there's two. Thank you Michael about the Beatles. Perfect example. Can't we stop dispensing judgement on what is and what should never be ![]() but not individual tracks!!! Too subjective! |
