Rare Progressive Rock From Mainland China Saturday Night

Join the GAGLIARCHIVES Saturday Night, 6/19/04, at 10pm EST, as we feature a 4 hour spotlight on progressive rock from the Far East. Ken Golden of the progressive rock label Laser's Edge is our co host for this special program. We will spotlight music from Japan, and projects and artists such as Cosmos Factory, Flower Travellin' Band, Gestalt, Geino Yamashirogumi, Far East Family Band,
Kitaro, Yuki Nakajima, Goro Ohmi & Big Mouth, Rinneysa, Ryo Kawasaki, Paradox, Tetsuo Sakurai, Yonin Bayashi and Hiro Yanagida. We also spotlight the only known progressive rock recording to ever emerge out of Mainland China In San Bao. We will feature an extended 40 minute set of this wonderful rarity! We also focus on Korea, and music from the band N.E.X.T...music from Indonesia, and the project Godbless, and music from the Phillipines project, The Juan De La Cruz Band. Ken Golden, CEO of the progressive rock label Laser's Edge, Sensory and Free Electric Sound has joined the gagliarchives radio program in recent years, such as Progmetal Nights I and II, and the classic from 2001, Ken Golden's Fusion Night. That San Bao was something to behold! I'm hoping they (whoever 'they' are) release this album for WIDE distribution as soon as possible. Subtle, with a lot of chinese cultural overtones, yet progressive at the very heart.

Wonderful find, Mr. G. Wonderful.
