![]() Two suggestions: First, about Jethro Tull. I think that is a priority include the Roots to Branches album in AM. This is the most progressive Tull work since the 70's, the flute is incredible and the lyrics are great, also interesting arrangements. Sumarizing, something the AM listeners can't loose.
Second, although The Beatles don't belong to the prog movement, they were an important root for it. In fact, I think their music evolution was toward "progression". So, the Harrison's east inspired songs, some themes from the Sargent Pepper's, the Magical Mistery Tour, The Whit Album Volume 2 and Revolver must be included in AM. I agree
there is so much good prog out there
no need to play Beatles songs that somebody thinks is prog related we can here all that on our AM radios, I say play as much obscure prog as possible..
