Swedish Progressive Rock
Hey,
Tonight I'll be starting a series on Swedish progressive rock. I'm going to start with the early stuff from 1968-1971, much as I did with the Finland series. The tentative schedule right now is: June 12 - 1968-1971 June 19 - early 70s June 26 - rest of the 70s (pre-recorded show) July 10 - 80s July 17 - 90s to today July 3 will be a break in the series for another show I wish to do at that time. I'd encourage anyone who wants to talk about Swedish prog in general, or about the shows, to post their thoughts. Regards, Sean

great show - rebroadcasts?
progressive shores is the next best thing since the gagliarchives. and it's different too! i've like to see a marathon of a few shows rebroadcasted once every few weeks. these shows are too good for a one time only, this show needs a re-broadcast!

Hey,
Well wow, thanks for the very kind words. I'm blown away, seriously. Davin and I are working on something that will allow us to do rebroadcasts. Basically when I do a show right now it saves the stream to my local hard-drive. So if I can find a way to edit the WMA file or convert it to MP3 and edit that, then I can FTP the show to Davin each week for rebroadcast (and also archive all the old shows for rebroadcast whenever somebody wants to hear one). Unfortunately stuff has been pretty busy lately leading up to NEARfest but I think we will have this ready to go pretty soon. Thanks a lot for tuning in and I really appreciate the support. Regards, Sean
