Playlist Dec 17th

Hi!

This has been one of our most "special" shows. We're even holding a sort of contest, to see who can guess what's the underlying "theme" of this past show. It's a very general theme though...

Check out the playlist:

deyss - march of destiny
deyss - the meeting of the lords
deyss - turning night into day
liberation thru hearing - the path of good wishes...
citadel - midwinter's morning chant
boris and his bolshie balalaika - purple haze
ironia - underground stealing
pendragon - red shoes
thorne - i am the law
point of ares - leucothoe
mark 1 - the life ... on the run
realm - airglow
delta cyphei project - virtual world
gazeuse - yeah, well
yanka kozir orchestra - v chotyryoh
magellan - jacko
indigo - box of dreams
ironia - shackleton perseveres
algebra - dusk
steve lieberman - the gates of something stupid
liberation thru hearing - the invocation of the buddhas & bodhisattvas

Oh, and whoever gets the theme right gets to pick the theme for a future show!

cheers,
Alex.

Thumbs up keep up the good work!djs

I am a "new" listener of the GnosisRadioShow-and as an artist-I totally enjoy the selection of music. Being from the south(very limited) for as culture of art and music-internetradio is a God send.

Well Lenny, thanks for the kind words! I just want to let you know that the selection we play in this past show isn't by any means characteristic of what we usually play It was a one-time joke we ran, with some not-so-good (and some downright bad) prog stuff. Next show will return to the usual goodness

Talking

Thank you, frond, glad to hear the pain & suffering shall end. I'm fairly new and have only caught a couple of Gnosis shows, and all the others have been exemplary. Thanx for the dedication.

Angry the gates of something stupid???

hi Alex---

firstly--thanks for playing me well last year--
i think it was me you played--but i don't recall ever writing a song called 'the gates of something stupid' i did write a song ," the Gates of Birkenau; Mir'yam", rereleased as "Treblinka Liberated" on my 3rd album DESERT FEVER BRIGADE-- released 12/29/2003.

basically, Alex--if you took more time with the number, you would see it was a tribute to the Holocaust, a very tragic event in the history of my people. You substituted "Birkenau" , the site where millions of martyrs died with the phrase "something stupid" maybe you thought it cool to poke fun at my records--others at that time did , too--that i got over and went on to produce 3 other full length cd's, which a heck of a lot less people poked fun at--but substituting a site where millions of my people died from a heinous hate crime with 'something stupid' i don't think was cool at all

again--thanks for playing me

Steve Lieberman
